Hi Phil, Thanks so much for this. I was wondering what you thought about the verse regarding sheep and goats in Matthew 25: 31-46. Mostly I think that God is too kind to put us in a place called hell and torture us but…I’m not 100 percent because one could say that by not believing him then it’s their fault so it’s not technically Gods so…! I thought for a while that the sheep and the goats were christians who made it to heaven, but then were judged and He judged them by wether they were kind or not.Please open… Read more »

Just a thought: I do believe that there is a hell, as it is described as being built for satan and his fallen angels, but I have pretty much let go of “Eternal Torment” because in, Revelation 20:14 -Then death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death. Doesn’t this mean that there is an end to ‘hell’ thus it is not eternal? Ive heard studies that say that the second death is the final end, the annihilation, the cease to exist, just nothing more and they usually tie it… Read more »
